Baptism
”Preparation for Baptism” courses are held on 2nd Tue of every month in Sacred Heart Church at 7 pm; parents and godparents to attend.
Baptisms take place on the 1st Sun of the month in Sacred Heart Church at 2 pm and on the 3rd Sun of the month in Our Lady’s Church at 2 pm.

Confirmation
A meeting for parents of the P.7’s of both schools preparing for confirmation will be held on Thu 21 Jan at 7 pm in Sacred Heart Boys Primary School.
The Ceremony of Commitment & Light will take place on Thu 04 Feb at 7 pm in Our Lady’s Church.
The Sacrament of Confirmation will be conferred on the children on Tue 23 Mar at 11 am in Sacred Heart Church.
First Confession
A preparation evening for all the parents of the P.3’s of both schools will be held on Thu 11 Mar at 7 pm in  Sacred Heart Boys Primary School.
First Confession will be celebrated for Our Lady’s Girls on Thu 25 Mar at 1 pm in Our Lady’s Church and for Sacred Heart Boys on Fri 26 Mar at 1 pm in Sacred Heart Church

First Communion
The preparation evening for all the parents of P.4’s of both schools will be on Thu 22 Apr at 7 pm in Our Lady’s Girls Primary School.
First Communion will be celebrated for Sacred Heart Boys on Sat 08 May at 11 am in Sacred Heart Church and for Our Lady’s Girls on Sat 05 Jun at 10 am in Our Lady’s Church.
                                                       The sacraments are God’s way of giving us his grace, his love and his forgiveness.  To understand what it means to celebrate the sacraments we must first believe that we are loved unconditionally by God and that he wants to share his love and his goodness with us through the sacraments.  The Alive-O Religious Education programme, used in our schools, helps your child to understand and experience God’s love through story, prayer and activities.  The love that they experience at home is essential in helping them to believe that God always loves them.  Your child knows that you will always love and forgive them no matter what.  If this is true of their parents then they can only begin to imagine how much God loves them and how willing he is to give them gifts which are really good for them.
