To put our faith in a nutshell runs the risk of oversimplifying it - but in essence that is what a creed is. These are the basics of what we believe, this is expressed in the ‘kerygma’ of the New Testament.

God the Father loves us

because of that love He sent His Son into the world;

Jesus lived amongst us and died on the cross for our sins,
|
|

|
but He rose from the dead that we might have eternal life;
|
|
n
|
the Holy Spirit is given to those who believe this
|
|
n
|
and binds us to one another and unites us to God.
|
We need to accept and believe these truths as the foundation of our faith before we can explore it further. All of the above is summed up in the phrase:
Jesus Christ Is Lord!
